But there are certain things…
…that don’t heal over time
Because I couldn’t love myself wholly
My heart is poor tonight
The face in the mirror looks awkward
So I close my eyes like a habit
When the night comes, I want to rush to tomorrow
A child dreaming different dreams
every day under countless wishes
Did that child suffer in pain for such a long time…
…to just become me?
We get further as another day piles up
I don’t think we can ever reconcile
I don’t think it’ll get better
When I was a child
There was a sea that never dried up in my heart
That place is only left with faint traces
My breaths that rose up with fluttering feelings
And the gentle wind above my head
I want to become a wave and run to anywhere
When I slowly open my eyes…
…with the small fear
Every moment of the world comes to me
And becomes a dazzling gift
And me who doubted continuously
Can finally answer to myself, I feel
The memory from beyond the line…
…is calling for me
At the voice…
…that I’ve forgotten for a long time
I move across the flow to go back
To the place where the sea inside me was born
I’m free even when I’m swept away and get lost
I won’t close my eyes at the darkness
that traps me anymore
I won’t pretend not to know myself again
And yet, occasionally still
I may lose to life again
But even if I get lost again, I know the way back
